Modules for Teens

Hey Teens – do you have the skills that lead to success? Everything is about connecting with others and being an excellent communicator. Learn about your conflict management style, how to be assertive, how to interview, how to have more friends, and be confident in social situations through informative sessions which give you the practice you need to be self-assured.

General Skills for Success Modules for Teens & Young Adults
(Ten 90 min. sessions/once a week for 10 weeks)

Modules:

  1. Self-presentation (Appearance, Hygiene, Body Language, etc.)
  2. Greeting and Meeting New People/General Etiquette
  3. Starting and Maintaining a Conversation
  4. Conflict Resolution
  5. Anger Management
  6. Interviewing Skills (includes mock interview w/ area business person)
  7. Dealing with adults in Authority Positions
  8. Dealing with Parents
  9. Dealing with Bullying
  10. Becoming a Self-Advocate and Getting Your Needs Met/Review of General Etiquette at last session, which is a dinner in an area restaurant.
